BRAINTREE โ Movie theater chain AMC is Four Girls Apparently he was stabbed Internal Random Attack Braintree Theatre.
Jared RavizzaRavizza, 26, is charged in connection with the Saturday night attack at the AMC Braintree 10. Police say Ravizza entered without paying admission and stabbed four girls who were at the theater for a screening of “IF.”
Ravizza also allegedly stabbed two people at a McDonald's in Plymouth about an hour later. He was arrested after a confrontation at the sandwich shop.
The mother says AMC employees were initially unresponsive.
Lisa Dembowski, the mother of three of the AMC stabbing victims, said employees initially took no action after the girls reported the stabbings.
“They said they were all out and told the people at AMC, but AMC didn't believe them and didn't really do anything, so they had to call the police themselves,” Dembowski said.
AMC to Undertake “Comprehensive Review”
In a statement to WBZ-TV, AMC said it has personally reached out to the families involved.
“AMC has multiple security features and procedures in place at all of our theaters, the details of which we do not publicly disclose or discuss,” the spokesperson said. “We have already begun a thorough investigation into this incident. Based on the statements of theater personnel and video footage, our theater team took immediate action, notifying emergency services and providing aid to the victim.”
AMC said the Braintree store will have visible security guards on staff “for the time being.”
Connecticut Survey
Sources tell the WBZ I-Team Ravizza is also involved in a murder investigation in Deep River, Connecticut, where a body was discovered Saturday afternoon after a call of a disturbance.
Neighbors said two men and two dogs lived in the home, and it is believed the dogs also died. “It's so sad. It's unbelievable. These were human lives,” said a Connecticut neighbor.
Ravizza is being held without bail.
Jared Ravizza was released from South Shore Hospital and is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Dembowski hopes justice will be served. “I hope he gets what he deserves,” he said.
