Annapolis, Maryland – February 27, 2024/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The 2nd Annual Annapolis Running Festival is back and ready to take over the streets of historic downtown Annapolis on March 9, 2024. Organized by Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE), the festival celebrates the spirit of running and community while offering participants an opportunity to explore. Beautiful views of Maryland's capital city.
The festival offers something for every runner with three different race distances: half marathon, 10k and 5k. The Half Marathon and his 10,000 participants cross the Naval Academy Bridge, giving runners picturesque waterfront views and enjoying a tour of Anne Arundel County on the beautiful B&A Trail before returning to the stadium . All races start and end at the iconic Navy Stadium.
Runners cross the finish line, receive nautical-themed finisher medals, and enjoy post-race festivities. This includes live music, Michelob his ultras, as well as oysters and steamed shrimp.
This time too, an exciting element “Charity Chaser” will be introduced. Annapolis Detective Courtney Moore will start last in the half marathon, and for every runner she passes, Corrigan Sports Enterprises will donate $4 to the Annapolis Police Foundation.
