Fans will be able to see the 2024 uniforms live during the NWSL Challenge Cup.
In time for the 2024 season, which begins March 15, the National Women's Soccer League and Nike have partnered to unveil new primary and secondary uniforms for all 14 of the league's member clubs.
This will be the first time in the NWSL's 11-year history that all teams' uniforms will be reset.
While the bright designs used on the primary uniform are diverse and unique to each club's identity, the secondary uniform is designed to showcase the team's strengths.
There are also pre-match tops that feature a common design created by overlaying traditional team crests, adding texture and color that symbolically unites all clubs.
Additionally, Nike says all matchday kits feature Nike's signature Dri-FIT ADV fabric technology, which provides reinforcement, mobility and breathability.
Nike also made a major update by removing white shorts from its entire 2024 lineup. This came as a result of NWSL players calling them a distraction on the pitch.
NWSL Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Julie Haddon said: “This historic kit refresh with Nike is a vibrant kit that symbolizes the powerful connection between clubs, players, fans and our communities. “This represents our continued commitment to raising the bar and elevating the NWSL brand.” statement. “We are excited to build on this energetic moment as we prepare to kick off the 2024 season.”
All soccer fans looking forward to the new 2024 uniforms will be able to see them during the NWSL Challenge Cup on March 15th and the season kickoff on March 16th.
