Colorado Springs, Colorado โ Liz Keady Norton USA Hockey announced today that Dartmouth College Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach (Boston, Massachusetts/Dartmouth College) will return as head coach of the U.S. U-18 Women's National Team in 2025.
Keady Norton joins as assistant coach courtney kennedy (Woburn, Massachusetts/Boston University), Amber Freiklund (Hibbing, Minn./Bemidji State University), Goaltending Coach mackenzie bruch (Powder Springs, Georgia/Yale University) and Intern Coach shelley pickard (Taunton, Massachusetts/Long Island University).
The 2025 IIHF U-18 Women's World Championship will be held from January 5th to 12th, 2025 in Vantaa, Finland.
About Keady Norton
Keady Norton has returned to the head coaching role and most recently led Team USA to a gold medal at the 2024 IIHF U-18 Women's World Championship in Switzerland. Prior to 2024, she served as an assistant coach for the U.S. U-18 Women's National Team, and she won a bronze medal at the 2023 IIHFU-18 Women's World Championship.
Keady Norton has been the head coach of the Dartmouth College women's ice hockey team since 2021-22.
Prior to joining Dartmouth, she spent four seasons (2017-21) with the Boston University women's ice hockey program, including two seasons as an associate head coach and two seasons as an assistant coach. She also served as an assistant women's ice hockey coach at Harvard University for two seasons (2015-17) and at Union University for one year (2014-15).
Keady Norton graduated from Princeton University in 2008 and was a four-year honoree in women's ice hockey. She represented the United States as a member of her 2004 U-22 selection team and spent her 2005-06 season with the United States Women's National Team.
