Herefordshire will face almost entirely different opponents across three formats when the National Counties Season begins at the end of April.
With the T20 and one-day groups redrawn, Oxfordshire will be the only remaining opponents from the 2023 season. Herefordshire faced the One Dayers in the Championship last season, but will line up in the T20 competition in the group this year. Also includes Wales and Shropshire.
Shropshire are also part of the Herefordshire 50-over group, which also includes Norfolk, Suffolk and Staffordshire.
And in the Championship, Herefordshire will face Shropshire, Wiltshire again and Wales in a bid to regain their place in the top flight after being relegated from the West Division One last season.
This year's ECB showcase game will see Herefordshire take on top-flight opponents Gloucestershire in two T20 matches at Eastnor on Wednesday 22nd May.
Richard Cox, general manager of Herefordshire Cricket Limited, said: “We are looking forward to the new season, with the possibility of new opponents in the multi-day format.”
“It will be good to see Matt Pardoe, who missed the last few games of last season, return to the captaincy as he is now back in the region.
“We have another showcase game scheduled this year against Gloucestershire, allowing us to hone our skills in a weather-prone format early in the season, making room for multi-day cricket matches later in the season. 'Can be done' year. “
