Reading, Pennsylvania (March 1, 2024) – Alvernia Women's Ice Hockey has selected four student-athletes to the 2023-24 All-MAC Women's Ice Hockey Team for their performance during the 2023-24 season, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced on Friday.
Kenzie Connick He was named Rookie of the Year and earned second-team All-MAC honors as a forward. julia franklin Earned First Team All-MAC honors as a forward. sydney bradley Earned First Team All-MAC honors on defense. Julia Beaven Named second-team All-MAC goaltender.
Kenzie Connick He finished his first season with Alvernia with 19 points in 26 games. Connick finished the season with 10 goals and nine assists. Connick earned a plus-7 rating for the year and finished the year with two game-winning goals and six blocks. She scored a season-high three points against Neumann on November 18. Connick's 10 goals ranked fourth in the MAC and his nine assists ranked 12th in the conference. Connick's 19 points also ranked fifth in the conference. julia franklin He played in 25 games this season and led Alvernia with 21 points. Franklin led Alvernia with 12 goals and also had nine assists. She scored a hat trick against Anna Marie in Alvernia's season-opening series and scored two goals in three games. Franklin finished the season with a plus-9 rating. Franklin's 12 goals rank her second in the MAC, and her .48 goals per game average also ranks her second. She was third in the MAC with 21 points and 0.84 points per game. Franklin led the conference with a faceoff winning percentage of .606. This is Franklin's second All-MAC honor. She also earned First Team All-MAC last season.

Bradley played in three games this season and recorded two assists. She led Alvernia with a team-high plus-11 rating and had 25 blocks on the year. Bradley was sixth in the MAC with 10 assists and eighth in the conference with 15 points. She also ranked third in the league with a plus-11 rating. This is Bradley's third All MAC honor. She earned first-team honors in the 2022-23 and 2021-22 seasons and was also co-Rookie of the Year in 2021-22.
Julia Beaven In his fifth year, he played in 21 games and finished with a record of 8 wins, 8 losses, and 4 draws. Beaven played 1,192 minutes and finished the season with a 1.71 goals against average. She also finished the year with 556 saves and a save percentage of .942. She also recorded four shutouts this year. Beaven ranked second in the MAC with a 1.71 goals-against average and second in the league with a .942 save percentage. Her 556 saves ranked third in the conference. This is Beaven's fourth All-MAC honor. She earned first-team honors in the 2022-23 and 2021-22 seasons, and second-team honors in the 2020-21 season.
