BATAVIA, NY – CAN-USA Sports is excited to announce the return of Battle of the Badges in the City of Batavia
Police vs. City of Batavia Fire Charity Hockey Game and the inaugural Batavia City Schools Foundation Teachers Charity Hockey Game at David McCarthy Memorial Ice Arena in 2024.
The Batavia City Schools Foundation Teachers Match will be held at Doors on Sunday, February 4th at 5:00 p.m.
Opens at 4pm. This event features current and former teachers who take to the ice to benefit the Batavia City Schools Foundation. Admission is free for children 12 and under, tickets are only $10, and proceeds benefit the foundation.
“We want to further raise awareness of the Foundation, and our district has a rich hockey tradition, so we thought this would be a good fit,” said Foundation President Zach Kozelius. I did.

The second annual Battle of the Badges will be held at Doors on Sunday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m.
Opens at 5:30pm. The Batavia Police Department held the first annual Battle of the Badges Cup last year, and the event raised more than $3,000 for David's McCarthy Memorial Foundation.

Both events will feature full-service food and beverages at the rink, with 50-50 food and beverages available at each night's game.
