The University of Delaware will add women's ice hockey as a varsity sport and join College Hockey America (CHA) starting July 1, 2025, Blue Hen Athletics announced Friday. Delaware State becomes her 45th university in the nation to sponsor a Division I women's ice hockey program. A public press conference will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at Fred Rust Arena and will be streamed live on YouTube.
