The girlfriend of a luxury home builder who was charged in the disappearance and death of her boyfriend's estranged wife in 2019 has been found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. Friday in a Connecticut jury.
Michelle Troconis, 49, was also sentenced. He is accused of tampering with evidence and obstructing prosecution in the murder of Jennifer Dulos, 50, a mother of five whose body was never found. A judge pronounced her dead last October.
The jury deliberated for two full days. After the verdict was read, Troconis laid his head down on the defense table.
Her sentencing was set for May 31st.

Troconis had pleaded not guilty in the case.
Troconis' boyfriend, Fotis Dulos, was charged with felony murder, kidnapping and other charges in the case before his death on January 30, 2020.
Fotis Dulos, 52, was under house arrest at the time after posting $6 million bail. He attempted suicide at his home in Farmington, west of Hartford, and died two days later after being taken to a New York hospital and placed in a hyperbaric chamber.
Fotis Dulos left a note denying any involvement in the disappearance, which was later released by his lawyer.
Fotis Dulos' best friend, Kent Mawhinney, was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with her death. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.
Jennifer Dulos was last seen on May 24, 2019. Authorities said in an arrest warrant that Jennifer Dulos' blood stains were found in his home, and surveillance video from that day showed Fotis Dulos stuffing trash bags into a dumpster near West Hartford. was. The bag was filled with zip ties, gloves and tape, according to the warrant.
He was caught on camera allegedly discarding a defaced license plate, according to the warrant.
Blood-like stains matching Jennifer Dulos' DNA were found on a paper towel and poncho inside the bag, documents said.
Troconis' DNA was found on some of the items, documents said, and video shows Fotis Dulos was with Troconis when he dumped the bag.
She later admitted to investigators that she had been with him in West Hartford, but did not know what he was doing or what was in his bag, according to the warrant. I denied it.
The former couple had five children and were in the midst of a custody battle when she disappeared. Authorities argued that Mr. Fotis Dulos owed millions of dollars and could have accessed his children's trust funds if they had taken him into custody.
Fotis Dulos said in the letter that authorities had “fabricated” many of the charges against him. He loves his children and writes, “I would do anything to be with them, but unfortunately we have our limits.”
