Northfield, Vermont – Norwich Women's Ice Hockey Team Head Coach Sophie Leclerc-Doherty has announced the addition of eight new players to the squad: four forwards, three defenders and one player who can play both forward and defense.

In 2021-22, he helped Honeybaked 16U win the Michigan State Championship.
#19. Alex Leslie (D)
Hometown: Irishtown, New Brunswick

Major: Biochemistry

During her time at Mount Academy, Leslie earned numerous athletic and academic accolades including Female Athlete of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, High Performance Fitness, Sporting Excellence Award, Governor General's Award and Academic Excellence Award.

Previous team: University of Maine
Major: Master of Business Administration
Family: Parents Candace and Jeff, sister Caitlin
She played in 95 games over four years at the University of Maine, recording one goal and six assists from the defensive line. Cousin Lindsay Fickett played softball at Norwich (2006-08).
#21 Grace McCluskey (F)

Major: Interdisciplinary Engineering
Family: Parents Courtney and Sean, brother Connor
She helped the Pride win the USA Hockey Southeastern Division Championship and was described by her junior team as “a tireless worker whose speed and tenacity create opportunities for the team. A great teammate who makes those around her better.” Her mother, Courtney, ran cross country and track at George Washington University.
#22 Anna Lissak (F)

Major: Mechanical Engineering
Family: Parents Rhonda and Martin, siblings Ella and Owen
He played in three USA Hockey national championships, captained Gilmore Academy during his senior season and was recognized by the National Honor Society as a recipient of the Zeal Award for his offensive contributions during the season.

Major: Criminology
He served as captain of Team Colorado and recorded 23 goals and seven assists in his senior season.
#28 Jordan Brady (D)

She led Culver to the most wins in program history and a second consecutive district championship, and was named to the Honor Roll with distinction in humanities.

He joined the American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA) in 2021. He graduated from high school with honors. His father, Chris, played golf at Michigan State University.
These eight newcomers will take to the ice at Kreitzberg Arena for the first time in the preseason opener against Keene State on Oct. 14 and are scheduled to make their regular season debut on Nov. 2 at Plattsburgh State.
