Jane McCarter scored the first goal for the Polar Bears (6-5-2 overall, 3-2-2 NESCAC) at 7:13 on the power play.Abigail Ainsley took the first shot. Ray Halloran, Halloran made the save before McCarter could get the puck over the line. at 3:42 jenna stevens '24 tied the game at one point from just inside the blue line. Christina Tournas '25 picked up the puck on a turnover on the far board and made a pass. Mairead Kennedy 24, on the line for a cross-ice pass to Stevens.
With the second period underway, it took the Bears less than two minutes to take the lead. Runal Roux scores a goal. Lue stole the ball in the neutral zone and took a shot from the left faceoff circle.
Brigid Göhler-Slough '23 tied the score at 15:04 with the Cardinals' (5-5-2 overall, 1-3-1 NESCAC) second tying goal of the night, bringing the score to two. The Sun hit Sally Solotaroff-Webber with a hard wrist shot, allowing Goeller-Slough to grab the rebound and slam the puck into the post. The only goal in the final period was dylan green In '27, he took a backhand pass from Goeller-Slough from center and shot the puck over Solotarov-Weber's shoulder. The winning goal and the deciding point in overtime were scored by Bowdoin's Annie Sun, who waved off Morin and placed the puck behind Hallorann with a backhand.
Halloran made 17 saves in net for the Cardinals. Solotarov-Weber contributed 39 saves for the Bears.
