As announced, East Stroudsburg University Director of Athletics Dr. Allen G. Snook Jr. and President Kenneth Long have named Liz Flucks as the next women's basketball head coach.
Fulcks joins ESU for his first career head coaching job after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart University.

During his time at Sacred Heart, Fulcks helped the Pioneers win two NEC Conference championships (2023, 2024), the 2024 NEC regular season title, and two NCAA Tournament appearances, including the first NCAA Tournament championship in program history. Supported participation. In 2023, they made history by defeating Southern in the First Four, 57-47. As Director of Player Development, Mr. Flux has coached several of his NEC All-Conference players, including two-time NEC Player of the Year Neisseria Pryor.
Prior to his role at Sacred Heart, Flux served as an assistant coach at Army for three seasons (2018-21) before moving into a competitive operations management role for basketball support in 2021. While serving as an assistant with the Black Knights, Flux earned All-Patriot League honors with assists to Madison Hovren (first team, 2018-19) and Alyssa Fallon (third team, 2019-20). .
Flux began his career in the Division I ranks at NJIT, where he worked as director of operations for three seasons (2015-16) before being promoted to assistant coach (2016-18). Flux worked with guards and shooters at ASUN. He coached Daniel Tunstall, who was named to the All-Freshman team.
Prior to joining the staff at NJIT, Mr. Flux began his college coaching career at Pitt-Johnstown University, a fellow Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) member, where he served as assistant coach and NCAA academic liaison from 2013 to 2015. I served. Previously he coached at Plains High School from 2012 to his 2013 season, his alma mater White.
Flux was a four-year starter and three-year captain for Niagara University's women's basketball team from 2007 to 2011. She finished her career with 1,210 points, becoming the 21st player with the Purple Eagles to join the 1,000-point club. Fulcks ranks fourth in program history in total games played (116) and tied for seventh in career 3-pointers (171) and free throw percentage (.810).
She was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Rookie Team after her freshman season and earned All-MAAC Second Team (2009-10) and Third Team (2009-2009) honors during her career.
A native of New York, Flux graduated from Niagara University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in psychology, and earned a master's degree in elementary education from Liberty University (2015).
