Ottawa, Kansas – The University of Ottawa women's flag football team defeated Southwestern University 47-0 Wednesday night at Advent Health Field.
The Braves forced a punt on Southwestern's first offensive possession of the game, and OU's offense took over at its own 14-yard line.
OU put together a six-play, 66-yard scoring drive that resulted in Madisen Carrera 25-yard touchdown pass to Alyssa Linkas. The extra point attempt went well, and with 3:31 remaining, OU led 7-0.
