Los Angeles – Timea Gardiner is officially a Bruin, signing with UCLA Women's Basketball ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Gardiner finished his sophomore season at Oregon State with 16 consecutive games of double-digit scoring. She scored a career-high 22 points in a game against USC on February 18th, and scored 21 points in the Sweet 16 on March 29th, helping the Beaves beat Notre Dame. Gardiner was named the Pac-12's No. 6 player of the year. 2023-24 campaign.
The rising junior will be reunited with former teammates Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice and Londyn Jones. Gardiner joined a trio of Bruins at the U16 Americas Women's Championship en route to a gold medal with USA Basketball in 2019.

In his sophomore campaign at Oregon State, Gardiner played in all 35 games, scoring 406 points and grabbing 244 rebounds while shooting 39.5 percent from 3-point range. She started nine games for the Beaves. She came off the bench before the postseason to lead the conference in scoring with 10.2 points per game and was named the Pac-12's sixth player of the year. She blocked a career-high four shots in the second round of the 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament against Nebraska.
Gardiner played in 15 games as a freshman, starting two after returning from a medical issue. She averaged 8.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, earning Pac-12 All-Freshman honorable mention honors despite only playing half the season. The Ogden, Utah, native shot 47.7 percent from the floor and 36.2 percent from long range. She scored 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting in a win over the No. 1 team at the time and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. 23 Oregon (January 20). Gardiner excelled in high school before arriving in Corvallis. She was a McDonald's All-American and a Jordan Brand Classic All-American. Gardiner was named to the Naismith All-America Second Team in 2022 and was named honorable mention in 2019, 2020 and 2021. She was also named a semifinalist for Naismith Player of the Year. Gardiner was selected to the All-Utah First Team three times, All-Region MVP twice and the Utah All-Tournament Team twice.
