“At that moment, she was screaming, 'I'm going to die.' I'm going to die. Please help me,” says Tobin. “Then people at the bar rushed to her aid, applying pressure to her arms and legs and administering the treatment that ultimately saved her life.”
Tobin said Bentley suffered multiple fractures and torn ligaments and was unable to move his right arm and could barely move his left hand. She also had a stick put in her left leg, making her unable to move, her right leg had multiple fractures, and she lost nearly all of her right ear. Tobin said the worst part was breaking her pelvis.
“Essentially, it looks like someone took a ball peen hammer to everything and just smashed it up,” Tobin says.

Bentley was in the ICU until Sunday and remains hospitalized.
Diontae Taylor, the alleged driver of the car that hit the Bentley, has been arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, police said. It is not clear whether he has entered a plea.
Bentley faces a long road to recovery and high medical bills, but has already raised nearly $35,000 on GoFundMe. Tobin said her client is grateful to the doctors who treated her.
“So far, they have been able to save all of her limbs,” he says. “There are big questions about the ability of those limbs to function again. But she is forever grateful for them.”
