The Wisconsin basketball team has been in contact with former South Florida forward Kacean Pryor, according to On3Recruits' Jamie Shaw.
The 6-foot-10-inch Pryor entered the transfer portal more than a week ago as a rising senior. Countless schools have contacted Pryor since he decided to transfer, including UW, Arizona, Gonzaga, Illinois, USC, Michigan and Wisconsin.
A total of 25 programs have contacted Pior since April 10, Shaw said.
The Chicago, Illinois, native has shown gradual improvement since campaigning as a freshman and sophomore at Boise State University.
After reaching the hardwood a total of 13 times in his first two seasons at Idaho State, Piler transferred to Northwest Florida State and appeared in 35 games with the Raiders in 2022-2023, averaging 14.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 rebounds. Recorded a steal. He also had an impressive field goal percentage of 46.2%, outside shot percentage of 35.2%, and charity stripe shot percentage of 79.9% in 28.1 minutes per game.Pryor chose to transfer to South Florida after his junior year of college.
His 13.0 points and 7.9 rebounds last season vaulted him to the No. 47 small forward spot on 247Sports' transfer rankings.

With the departures of AJ Storr, Chuckie Hepburn, Tyler Wall and Connor Ezegian, Wisconsin certainly needs more size and diversity. Pryor's length and veteran acumen could give the guard a boost on the team as he enters his 10th year on the sideline.
Pryor has not yet made a decision to transfer.
