CNU's Weber and Harvell earn top C2C honors

Camp CC plays for NJCAA Series berth
After winning the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 10, Division III tournament on Monday, Camp Community College of Franklin advanced to this weekend's NJCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship Series.
Camp will play Region 20 champion Allegheny County Community College in the No. 3 game Saturday at noon in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m., with Game 3 (if necessary) set for Sunday at 1 p.m. The series winner will earn an automatic bid to the NJCAA World Series, to be held May 25-30 in Auburn, New York.

Morgan State defeated Eastern Shore University of Maryland, 7-4, and South Carolina State defeated Howard University, 6-3, in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference double-elimination tournament at Norfolk State University. I was defeated.

UVA's Shellenberger is Tewaaraton finalist again
Virginia attackman Connor Shellenberger has been selected as one of five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award, which annually honors the top college lacrosse player in the United States, for the third year in a row, making Shellenberger the first player in school history to receive the award. James Madison's Isabella Peterson was named first-team All-American by USA Lacrosse, while Virginia's Morgan Schwab earned third-team honors.

Two Cavaliers made All-ACC team
Virginia sophomores Ben James and Brian Lee were named to the All-ACC team. UVA coach announces retirement
Virginia rowing head coach Kevin Sauer announced Thursday that he will retire at the end of this season. Sauer has led UVA for the past 29 years, leading the Cavaliers to two NCAA championships, 22 ACC championships and nine NCAA rowing titles.

Tide Swimming holds clinic on Saturday
Tide Swimming will hold a clinic Saturday from 12:30 to 3 p.m., featuring two of the club's 2024 Olympic Trialists, Kayla Wilson of Stanford University and Madison Hartley of the University of Kentucky. . There will be an autograph session on Saturday at 1:30pm and 2:50pm.
The clinic will be held at the Princess Anne Family YMCA, 22121 Landstown Road, Virginia Beach. Tide Swimming head coach Richard Hunter and his company will be teaching cutting-edge swimming techniques.

The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee has honored Virginia's Todd DeSorbo as the College Coach of the Year.
