White, captain of the 2023-24 team, is a student-athlete who has received numerous honors both on and off the ice. She was the recipient of the 2024 College Hockey America (CHA) Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, presented to the CHA player who has excelled in the classroom, the community and on the ice.
A native of Kingston, Ontario, White is a four-time American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Scholar, a four-time College Hockey America (CHA) All-Academic, and a 2023-24 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Graduate Scholar. For the past two years, she has served as co-chair of the Syracuse Student-Athlete Advisory Cultural Committee. She is also a Team IMPACT Fellow and a member of the Syracuse Diversity and Inclusion Student-Athlete Committee. Additionally, White is active in her Syracuse and hometown communities. She volunteers at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse and is a volunteer coach for Ontario's minor hockey program and state camps. During school breaks, White runs and coaches a youth hockey camp that she started locally in 2019. A three-time ACC Academic Honor Roll selection, White is participating in bioengineering studies at Syracuse University.
On the ice, White ranks eighth nationally in faceoff wins and recorded 20 points with six goals, 14 assists and 26 blocks this season. She was a finalist for the CHA Best Defensive Forward Award, given to the skater who performs as the league's best two-way forward. White played in all situations throughout the season, including on the Orange's power play, which ranks 15th nationally and fourth in the CHA with 19 goals and 18th nationally in power play percentage. She has recorded 54 career points (18 goals, 36 assists) and 862 faceoff wins, which are sixth-most in Syracuse history. The Orange won the CHA regular season and postseason titles and earned an invitation to the NCAA Tournament during White's second season.
