Subject to change based on weather, team health, and other circumstances, the contest will feature traditional in-game scoring and the Hokies' roster will be split into maroon and orange units. Tech's coaching staff will also be evenly distributed between the two “teams.”

head coach Brent Pry will conduct a postgame media release, and fans can watch the video on HokieSports.com or the HokieSports mobile app. His comments will be immediately communicated to coordinators and selected student-athletes.
Prior to the Maroon & Orange Spring Game, fans can support the football program through NIL initiatives such as the Triumph NIL Spring Sweepstakes and the Hokie Way Auction.
