Massachusetts Lowell women's soccer head coach Mila Novak announced the addition of Victoria Vargas to her coaching staff.
Vargas will serve as an assistant coach for the River Hawks.
“We are excited to add Victoria to the Riverhawk family and look forward to the impact she will have on this program and our student-athletes,” Novak said. “She has demonstrated a high level of competency on and off the field during the recruiting process and is a person of high character with tremendous experience coaching at the Division I level as well as the club and prep school levels. We feel this will greatly help us further grow our program.”
Vargas joins the staff after spending five seasons at the University of St. Thomas. She served as a volunteer assistant coach from 2019 to 2021, and in July 2021 she was named an assistant coach in her college Division I debut. Her duties include conducting practices, implementing in-game strategies, scouting opponents, and recruiting.
