The USC women's beach volleyball team defeated the UCLA Bruins 3-0 on Sunday in Gulf Shores, Alabama, to win its fourth straight NCAA national championship. The Trojans were already a dynasty that had won three consecutive national titles, but now they live in even more exclusive territory as a team that has won four straight. Remember in 1989 when Pat Riley, Kareem, and the Magic Lakers tried to “three-peat” for an NBA title but fell just short? The Lakers came just short of winning their third consecutive NBA title. Just by getting close, he achieved an unbelievably good result. Winning four games in a row is absolutely ridiculous in any sport, but USC did just that. Let's take a look at some rare examples of champions who have won four straight championships (and some that may appear soon).
