The UNLV football team received kickoff times, television information or both for 10 of Thursday's 12 games.
The Rebels finished coach Barry Odom's first season with a 9-5 record, advanced to the Mountain West championship game and will appear on national television a program-record 10 times. UNLV will also play four games on a Friday night for the first time.
“At least 10 of our 12 games will be broadcast on national television networks, strengthening our brand by being on stage in front of a national audience every week,” Odom said in a statement.
UNLV will open the season on August 31st at 4pm in Houston on FS1. The Rebels will also host Fresno State at home on September 28th at 12:30pm and play San Jose State on November 22nd (time TBA) on the network.
UNLV will be shown five times on CBS Sports Network: Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. against Utah State, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at home against Boise State, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. against Hawaii, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at home against San Diego State and Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. at home against UNR.
UNLV's trip to Kansas, a rematch of last season's Guaranteed Rate Bowl, will air on ESPN on Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. The Rebels will host Oregon State on Oct. 19, which will air on The CW at 12:30 or 7 p.m.
Kickoff times and television information for UNLV's two other games scheduled at Allegiant Stadium — Sept. 7 against Utah Tech and Oct. 6 against Syracuse University — have yet to be announced.
