University The New Hampshire State University men's hockey team has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season, which features 18 games scheduled at the Whitmore Center at the Key Auto Group Complex, including a matchup between White Out the Wits and arch-rival Maine on Friday, Nov. 22, in the Border Battle presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.Convenient and affordable Season Ticket Membership packages for the 2024-25 season are on sale now. 2024-25 schedule highlights:
- The Wildcats will open the 2024-25 season on Saturday, Oct. 12 at home against Bentley.
- Matches against Long Island (Nov. 9) and RIT (Nov. 29-30) will conclude the home non-conference schedule.
- The Wildcats will travel to non-conference games at Quinnipiac University (Oct. 25-26), Granite State rival Dartmouth College (Dec. 13), Rensselaer College (Dec. 28) and Princeton University (Jan. 3-4).
- The Whiteout the Wits is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, when the Wildcats host Maine.
- UNH will play Hockey East opponents Boston College, Boston University, University of Maine and Northeastern University three times, while the Wildcats will play UConn, UMass, UMass Lowell, Merrimack, Providence and Vermont twice.
- The Cats will face six opponents who appeared in the 2024 NCAA Tournament: Boston College, Boston University, University of Maine, University of Massachusetts, Quinnipiac University and RIT.
- UNH is scheduled to play two home exhibition games this season against Stonehill (Oct. 5) and the U.S. Under-18 team (Dec. 14).
The Wildcats finished with 20 wins, 15 losses and one tie in the 2023-24 season, their best record in 11 years. UNH has been nationally ranked for 23 consecutive weeks, including a No. 10 ranking on Nov. 20.
