The Chapel Hill North Carolina men's basketball team has officially entered the offseason. Although a national champion has not been decided yet, the Tar Heels are already taking steps towards next year's lineup. The ball may not be bouncing as much in the Dean Smith Center, but behind the scenes there are conversations and decisions that take place between players and coaches every year that shape the future of Hubert Davis and his team. It will have a big impact.
While waiting for RJ Davis and Harrison Ingram's decision on the NBA Draft, they have been busy landing some new sponsorship deals that were broadcast on social media.
Prior to the NCAA Tournament, the NIL scene saw a handful of Tar Heels in action. Deals with Fortnite, TurboTax, Marriott Hotels and more filled Instagram and Twitter accounts, and it felt like North Carolina was finally paying off off the court after a successful season.
Just last week, RJ Davis signed Haynes to a contract. As one of the world's top fabric brands, RJ continues his prestigious NIL sponsorship and has made the most of a great senior season in the new environment of college sports.

Next, Harrison Ingram turned heads with KFC's world-famous fried chicken. The junior small forward has taken a bit of a backseat to RJ and Armando in terms of pursuing the NIL on social media, but here he is signing a contract that only a few college athletes have.
He also posted on his Instagram, as seen below.
While the future of these stars is in question, it's exciting to see some of our favorite players team up with some of the most popular companies on the market. Naturally, those trades were locked down after the Tar Heels lost to Alabama in the Sweet 16, so if you were looking for some hope regarding them returning to North Carolina, here it is. Do you think that means anything? No, it's not. But who knows?
Congratulations to Harrison and RJ!
