Ty Zwonitzer announced his candidacy as a Republican member of the Laramie County Commission.
Zwonitzer said he is a fifth-generation Laramie County resident with deep roots in Cheyenne. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in business administration. He is an engineer with Cheyenne Fire and Rescue and previously worked as a local real estate agent and land management specialist for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. He has also managed a furniture and auction business for three generations of his family.
Zwonitzer says growth management is a top priority

He believes in helping to responsibly manage escalating growth and its impact on both city and county residents. He is committed to implementing strategies that ensure Laramie County's development is sustainable and preserves Wyoming's unique way of life.
