The 3A session started with a bang as Wilson defeated Cumberland Valley in the 200-meter medley relay. The Bulldogs' Ezekiel Eberle touched the wall just in front of the Eagles' Wyatt Borland, with Wilson clocking 1:35.44 and Cumberland Valley finishing in 1:35.56. Macro Santos, Bode Grau and Jonathan Chung also competed in the Eagles' relays.
Groh earned a sixth-place medal in the 200IM with a time of 1:56.00.
The 100 freestyle looked like it would be a matchup between Chan and Southwestern's Owen Cromer, the only swimmer to record sub-21 this winter. But neither reached that mark on Friday, with Brady Robidas of Muhlenberg winning the gold medal instead in 20.60 seconds. Cromer was second with a score of 21.00, and Chan was third with a score of 21.14. Borland placed fifth with a score of 21.34, giving the Eagles another medal.
