Section 1
Hempfield 3, McCaskey 0 — The Black Knights (9-2) are technically in sole possession of first place at the moment, but it's only a percentage point difference because Warwick (8-2) wasn't playing Thursday. Hempfield defeated the Red Tornadoes 25-11, 25-20, 25-9 as the host Knights fought hard to stay in the lead pack. finley hunt (8 kills, 2 blocks), alex cortez (12 digs) and Marcel Borrow (16 assists) Hempfield concludes league play Tuesday at Cedarcrest, but needs a win to stay in first place. Penn Manor 3, Conestoga Valley 0 — The Comets needed a win to remain safely in the bubble for a D3-3A playoff berth, and Penn Manor got the job done. harry whited (15 kills), Reese Andrejczyk (40 assists) and Garrett Cortez (16 digs) showed the way, and the Comets won in a heated contest with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, and 25-19. Section 2
Manheim Central successfully defended its section crown and is on track to advance to next week's league game with a 12-0 record, but Game 2 was given a bye on Thursday. The Barons have advanced to the league semifinals and will begin defending their LL Championship on May 13th. Central finished the week in second place in the PVCA-2A state rankings.

Cocalico 3, Garden Spot 0 — The Eagles defeated the host Spartans 25-12, 25-16, 25-17, almost guaranteeing second place and clinching the second and final spot in the league's playoffs. Johannis Hildebrand Recorded 13 kills, Jacob Wamboldt Cocalico had 21 assists and is two games ahead of Elizabethtown. The Eagles will play the Bears in their final regular season game on Thursday. nick smucker Achieve 6 kills, Ali Morales-Aguilar He had 16 assists at the Garden spot.
