The Sibley East School Board is scheduled to make a decision on the future of the Arlington Sibley East Swimming Pool at its regular monthly meeting on Monday night, May 20, in Arlington.
At last month's regular meeting, the school board unanimously approved a motion to make a decision on the future of the swimming pool by its regular monthly meeting in May.
At last month's regular meeting, the Citizens Committee asked the school board for additional time to implement the plan and save the pool.
Members of the Citizens Committee are scheduled to address this issue at the beginning of the monthly meeting on Monday, May 20th at 6:30 p.m.

A group of concerned citizens has started an online petition to save the Arlington Sibley East Swimming Pool. The online petition can be found on the Arlington Sibley East Swimming Pool Facebook page.
As of early Wednesday morning, May 15, approximately 600 people had signed the petition. Many also signed paper petitions.
As reported in a previous edition of the Arlington Enterprise, the Sibley East Swimming Pool Committee was formed.
Several members of the Sibley East Swimming Pool Committee recently met with the Sibley East Facilities Committee.
