Seattle โ Danny Sprinkle He signed a long-awaited transfer Great Osoborwill be added to the roster of the Washington men's basketball team for the 2024-25 season.
Osobol, a 6-foot-8 big man from Bradford, England, was named Mountain West Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year last season while playing for Utah State Sprinkle. He averaged 17.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and earned AP All-America honors.
“We are pleased that Great has decided to continue his career at Washington,” Sprinkle said. “He's a tough kid who loves physical athletics and wanted the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the Big Ten. It's been rewarding to watch his development over the past three years and our staff is excited to help him take another leap this year.”
2023-24 was a breakout season for Osobol, who started just three games combined over the past two seasons at Montana State. Osobol recorded 16 double-doubles last season and scored 30 points three times. One of his best performances with the Aggies came in the Mountain West quarterfinals against Fresno State, when he recorded 29 points, 17 rebounds and four assists.
He started all 35 games last season and led the Aggies in minutes played, and the big man also recorded the fifth-most free throws made in a single season in Utah State history.
