KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — It's only May, but the Vol Nation is ready for football. The University of Tennessee Athletics announced Wednesday that season tickets for Tennessee football games at Neyland Stadium are already sold out for the second year in a row.
According to Tennessee Athletics, this equates to 70,500 football season tickets in stock. A news release said the demand for season tickets and the season ticket interest list had reached nearly 15,000, “further demonstrating Vol Nacion's passion at a time of national stadium reduction.” I told you.
“Vol Nation has proven once again why they have the best fan base in all of sports,” said Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Danny White. “This is truly amazing considering we have sold out all 70,000+ season tickets for the second year in a row. We can’t wait to welcome you back to Rocky Top this fall!”
This ticket news is not the first time Neyland's soccer season tickets have sold out. In fact, this is the third time in the past 23 seasons that Tennessee has sold out its football season ticket inventory, having sold out in August 2016 before selling out in May 2023.
