Stanford, California – No. 6 TCU split its first day of competition Friday night in the Battle of the Bay.
The Horned Frogs lost a close game to No. 2 Stanford University, 3-2, but bounced back and finished the day with a 5-0 victory over the University of Oregon.

• Anete Namike and Tara Patton For second place, they lost to Sora/Wilson of Stanford University, 21-19, 21-14.
• Emma Gragau and Ana Vergara From the fourth place spot, they lost to Stanford University's Hoffman/Reilly 21-16, 21-15.
