A total of 78 players at this year's combine were invited to the 2024 NBA Draft. Mintz was projected to be a mid-to-late second-round pick when he received an invitation to the 2023 draft combine last year. Mintz ultimately announced that he would return to the Orange for his second season.
To earn one of the few remaining spots, Mintz will need to perform well at the G League Elite Camp, which will be held two days before the main show. Mintz was selected as one of 44 players to participate in a two-day scrimmage in Chicago starting May 11 as part of camp.
At least six players from G League Elite camp will advance to the NBA Draft Combine. according to To ESPN's Jonathan Gibbony.
The process: NBA teams vote on the 75 players they want invited to the draft combine. His 78 players with the most votes participated in the combine, and his next 44 players participated in his G League Elite camp. That means he has 75 votes to his 122 spot in Chicago. https://t.co/X0SyQaZfQu

Mintz officially announced on April 11th that he will enter the NBA Draft. He averaged 18.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game for Syracuse last season.
Compared to last year's NBA Draft cycle, Mintz barely appeared in mock drafts despite going from borderline All-ACC in 2022-23 to All-ACC second team last season.
All signs point to Mintz's draft stock not being as high as last year. He'll have to prove some people wrong next week in Chicago.
