The Syracuse Orange have not yet finalized their 2024 schedule, but they are already looking ahead to their 2025 schedule.
Syracuse is one of several schools interested in participating in the new Players Era Festival in 2025, according to a report from CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd and Matt Norlander. A new Multi-Team Event (MTE) will be held in Las Vegas next November and will include: Rutgers, Alabama, Houston, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Oregon, Texas A&M.
News—Innovative college basketball NIL tournament scheduled to be held this year is almost finalized, officials say @CBS Sports. Seven of the eight schools are participating, and he plans to double the field to 16 schools in 2025. Here are the details and reports: @dennisdoddcbs:https://t.co/cFGRL1nkpt

In this tournament, the $1 million raised by each participating school will be distributed to the players. The winning team will receive a bonus paid by the organizer. The games will take place during the week of Thanksgiving, and while no TV or streaming availability has been announced, it's safe to assume these games will have no problem getting media deals.
Organizers plan to expand to 16 teams by 2025, with interest including Syracuse, Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga, Kansas and Michigan. Since this event requires multi-year participation, the 16 teams could be split into smaller he MTEs, as current rules do not allow teams to compete in the same he MTE consecutively. It becomes more sexual. Looking at the schools listed, there are certainly some interesting combinations of four teams.
What do you think, Orange fans? Interested in seeing Syracuse in Las Vegas several years in a row?
