This summer, you might be swimming in cash.
Los Angeles-based private pool rental company Swinply has announced the hiring of a chief pool officer (CPO) for summer 2024.
According to the listing, the company is looking for pool enthusiasts whose job it is to travel to all 50 states from July to September and review as many pools as possible.

The CPO will be responsible for spreading the word on social media and creating content that highlights “the best parts of Swimply to date.”
The new hire will host pop-up pool parties and oversee a list of pools and travel guides around the country.
Swimply CPOs are guaranteed a base payment of $50,000 for travel expenses, floats, pool reservations, and road trip snacks.

Additionally, you will earn $50,000 in performance bonuses based on content engagement and number of pools visited.
To apply, interested applicants must reserve a nearby Swimply pool and create a video resume demonstrating their content creation skills.
Applicants are encouraged to share their videos on TikTok or Instagram Reels, tag and follow @swimply, and use the hashtag #SwimplyDreamJob.

There is no limit to the number of submissions.
Next steps include an interview with Swimply CEO Derek Callow and a “swim screen test.”
Swimply is described as a “premier community-driven marketplace” where you can book private pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, pickleball courts, homes, and other spaces by the hour.
