The Southside boys soccer team advanced to the Final Four with a 3-1 victory over Douglas in the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs on Friday, May 3, at Barney Hood Stadium.
The Panthers (25-2-1) will face Guntersville in the state semifinals on Wednesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at John Hunt Park in Huntsville. The state championship game is scheduled for Friday. May 10th 9am

The Westbrook Christian girls soccer team lost to Jacksonville 3-2 in a double overtime penalty shootout on Saturday, May 4, in Jacksonville. The Lady Warriors finished the season with a record of 18-5-3.
