Colorado Springs, Colorado—San Jose State volleyball players Brooke Slusser and Brooke Bryant will be included on the 12-player roster of the Mountain West team that will compete in the 19th Annual Global Challenge, to be held July 16-19 in Maribor, Slovenia. I am.
The team will be coached by Colorado State University assistant coach Ted Kopacz and Utah State University associate head coach Chloe Hurst.
Slusser, a senior setter for the 2024 season, averaged 6.63 assists, 2.29 digs and 1.08 kills in her MW play and was an All-MW honorable mention honoree. She had five double-doubles in conference play and recorded her first career triple-double with 10 kills, 19 assists and 16 digs in a home game against Colorado State.
Bryant, a senior right side for the 2024 season, averaged 2.09 kills and 0.65 blocks per set in 2023. She had a career-best 16 kills in the home game against Nevada.

About the Global Challenge
Each year, Global Challenge's mission is to provide teams with international playing experience and exposure. Past tournament participants include Slovenia, Russia, Romania, Germany, Bosnia, Montenegro, China, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Japan, Iran, Sweden, Denmark, Puerto Rico, as well as clubs from the United States and Federation teams are participating.
