The winner will qualify for the FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup 2024.
The Volleyball Asia Women's Challenge Cup 2024 will kick off in Manila, Philippines on May 22 and run until May 29. The event will be held at the 6,100-seat Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila.
The 2024 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup will be the fifth edition of the annual international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) in collaboration with the Philippine Volleyball Federation (PNVF). The tournament will see the AVC's senior women's national team compete for promotion to the FIVB Women's Challenger Cup 2024.
A total of 10 countries will participate in the 2024 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup. The Philippines has secured its status as the tournament host. Six countries – Chinese Taipei, Iran, Australia, India, Vietnam and Indonesia – qualified based on their performances in the previous tournament. Kazakhstan, Singapore and Hong Kong qualified as additional teams.
Hong Kong and Vietnam have each won the tournament once. The first two tournaments scheduled for 2018 and 2020 were cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and the COVID-19 pandemic.

India's best ever performance in the tournament was in 2022, when they finished as runners-up after losing 2-3 to Hong Kong in the final. In the last edition of the biennial tournament, India finished fourth after losing 0-3 to Chinese Taipei.
