The Mid-Prairie boys are 8-6 this year after losing 3-2 to Maquoketa on Wednesday. This season, the Golden Hawks outscored their opponents 25-23 with 215 shots, 96 shots on target, 54 corner kicks, 18 assists, and 98 saves for a team save percentage of 83%. The individual leaders are Tucker Miller, Beau Flynn, and Peyton Fox, all with four goals, Miller with five assists, and Joe Hall with 80 saves, 83% save percentage.
Bellevue defeated Tipton 1-0 on Monday and is now 4-9 this year. This year, the Comets won 47-27 on 158 shots, 76 shots on target, 46 corner kicks, 16 assists, and 162 saves for a team save percentage of 78%. The individual leaders are Ben Meyer with 8 goals, Logan Crouser with 5 assists, and Hunter Putman with 129 saves, 82% save percentage. These teams have met once before, with Mid-Prairie winning 6-1 last season.
The Golden Hawk girls are 7-6 on the season after a tough 3-2 loss to rival Washington on Thursday's Senior Night at Wellman. That year, the Hawks won 29-26 with 174 shots, 98 shots on target, 45 corner kicks, eight assists, and 182 saves for a team save percentage of 87%. Individual leaders include Elise Gingerich with 12 goals and 3 assists and Niva Helmut with 114 saves and 85% save percentage.
Bellevue lost a 3-1 decision to Tipton on Monday, but is now 3-8 this year. The action begins tonight at 5 p.m. At Bellevue, the women's contest comes first, followed by the men.
