April 3: Christian Reeves becomes the first of seven Blue Devils from the John Scheyer era to enter the transfer portal, as the Duke basketball program lost no talent to the portal last year following Scheyer's first season as coach. He became a great player.
The 7-foot-1, 260-pound Reeves, who redshirted last season with a right ankle injury despite appearing in three November contests, said Monday night that he has narrowed his field to four schools. , told On3's Joe Tipton. His four options are Clemson, Vanderbilt, Florida and Oklahoma.
Reeves, a former three-star recruit from Oak Hill Academy (Virginia), one of Shire's first seven recruits in 2022, just visited Clemson. If he commits to the Tigers, he would join TJ Power, who announced his commitment to Virginia on Monday, as two Duke basketball players to land at the same ACC school.

But Tipton said Reeves is scheduled to visit Florida and Vanderbilt this week as scheduled. Perhaps the 20-year-old from Charlotte will pick a winner in the recruiting process after these trips.
In 16 games with the Blue Devils from his freshman to sophomore years, Christian Reeves averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in just 3.6 minutes.
He has three years of eligibility left.
