Omaha 3, Grand Rapids 2: The Supernovas won 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 16-25, 15-7, moving them one win away from clinching second place in the four-team playoff.
Newly acquired former Minnesota star Stephanie Samedi led the way with 21 kills, 18 digs, five blocks and one solo. Brooke Nuneviller had 20 kills, 16 digs, three blocks and one solo. Bethania De La Cruz added 17 kills and had three aces with 17 digs, four assists and three block assists. Setter Sydney Hilley had 56 assists, 18 digs, three block assists and one kill. Kendall White had 16 goals and three assists.
Grand Rapids got 24 kills from league leader Claire Chaussé, who had just six errors on 59 attempts, one assist, 15 digs, four blocks and two solos. Marin Grote had 1 error on 27 attempts, but had 11 kills, one dig, 10 blocks and three solos. Morgan Fingal had 10 kills, one ace, 15 digs, four blocks and one solo, and Shannon Scully had nine kills with eight digs.
