Suresh Raina has made a huge claim and revealed about India's star cricketer, of whom his son is a big fan. Raina made this revelation during the Indian Veterans Premier League (IVPL) currently underway at the Noida Sports Complex.
Raina revealed that her son was with her during the tournament and revealed her love for the game. The Indian left-hander went on to reveal that he is working on changing his batting technique. Raina revealed that his son is also an avid cricket watcher.

During his playing days, Raina shared a deep bond with MS Dhoni and played under his captaincy for the Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for many years. Both announced his retirement on the same day. However, the 2011 World Cup winner revealed that his son is a big fan of Virat Kohli. Raina also said that Kohli met his son in Dubai recently.
“Now I'm his coach. Usually he coaches me. I have to change his grip. He's been here too. “He's very interested in playing the game, but I want him to enjoy the game. He's watching. “He loves cricket. He's a big fan of Virat Kohli. ,” Raina said on Sportac.
Raina and Kohli were Team India teammates for a long time in the early stages of their careers. The two, along with Piyush Chawla, were the two youngest players in the 2011 World Cup winning team.
Raina retired from international cricket in 2020 and last represented India in 2018 when Kohli was captain. He last played in the IPL in 2021 and retired from all top-level cricket after going unsold in the 2022 auction. However, he still plays in some leagues that primarily feature retired players.
