Los Angeles — No. 1 UCLA (6-3) picked up two wins in its home opener Friday (March 1) on the first day of the Battle of Los Angeles at Mapes Beach.


The Bruins remain historically undefeated against both programs with 4-1 wins over No. 8 California (4-1) and No. 18 Cal Poly (4-1). UCLA improved to 15-0 against the Golden Bears and 13-0 against the Mustangs.
