The Annalee boys volleyball team opened the North Coast Section playoffs Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over No. 10 seed Encinal, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.
The seventh-seeded Tigers (19-5), who just won their first pennant in North Bay League history, will play second-seeded Morrow Catholic (22-7) on the road in the second round Thursday at 7 p.m. to play against.
