Fairbanks โ The Alaska Nanooks Hockey Program will host its Edgeboss Elite Pre-Tryout Camp at Patti Ice Arena from July 23 to 26. Open to boys and girls ages 9 to 16, the camp will run from 8 to 9:45 a.m. each day and feature two 45-minute sessions.
Skaters will utilize the new Edgeboss training tools used by NHL and Division I teams, including the Alaska Nanooks. Participants can register for the camp here. The deadline to register is Monday, July 22nd at 8:59 AKST.

- There will be two 45-minute on-ice training sessions each day led by the Alaska Hockey coaching staff and players.
- The first 45 minutes will be skills development with Edge Boss, while the second session will feature elite small area skills games designed to improve hockey sense and goal scoring ability.
- You will develop skills and fundamentals under the guidance of current and former Alaska Nanook athletes and coaches.
- Areas for improvement: Skating, puck handling, goal scoring, passing, confidence.
- They will be using the latest Edgeboss equipment designed to improve puck control, the same technique being used by NHL teams and the Alaska Nanooks in preparation for the upcoming season.
What to bring:
- Full set of hockey equipment (stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, shin guards, skates, gloves, mouth guard, socks, undergear apparel)
- Water bottle
- Positive attitude!
Additional Information:
- All campers are required to have a parent/guardian and their contact information registered in case of an emergency.
