The season is still over for the MiraCosta and Redondo boys volleyball teams.
After losing in their respective CIF Southern Section finals on Saturday, both teams will compete in the upcoming CIF Southern California Regional Tournament.
Redondo (29-8) is the No. 2 seed in Division II and will play No. 7 Chatsworth in Tuesday's opener. The teams met in the Redondo Tournament in February, with the Seahawks winning the best of two sets, 2-3 (25-20, 25-12).
If Redondo wins, the winner of No. 3 Carlsbad University will be home. 6 Del Norte game.
Santa Margarita, which defeated Redondo in the CIF-SS Division 2 final, is the No. 1 seed.
Mira Costa (35-4) is the No. 2 seed in Division I. The Mustangs, who lost to Loyola in the CIF-SS Division 1 final, will host No. 7 Cathedral Catholic.
If Mira Costa wins, it will host the winner of the game between No. 3 Torrey Pines and No. 6 Newport Harbor.
Loyola is the No. 1 seed and will play Edison at home.
The regional semifinals will be played Thursday and the final will be played Saturday.
