McClain promoted offensive coordinator Milton Harper to head football coach on Friday.
Harper, who also served as assistant head coach, has been on the Titans' staff since 2021 and replaces Willie Ponder, who moved to Jenks as an assistant.
McClain is coming off a 6-4 season. This is Josh Jacobs' first winning record since his senior year in 2015. And the Titans made it to the Class 4A playoffs in 2022.
“He understands the culture at McLean,” Tulsa Public Schools athletic director Mick Wilson said. “He has made a huge contribution to the rebuild, he is a great teacher and a natural fit.
“The McClain administration believes Willie is a solid choice to continue the program he has led.”
Harper previously served as the quarterbacks coach at Langston. In 2017, he was the starting quarterback on Langston's team that went 10-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference and was named second-team All-SAC.
