rio grande valley – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men’s soccer team held Spring ID camps March 16th at Brownsville Sports Park, March 17th at UTRGV Soccer and Track and Field, and March 18th. announced that they will be holding an elite skills clinic. -21 at the UTRGV Soccer & Track & Field Complex.

Each ID camp consists of two sessions, the first session from 10am to 12pm and the second session from 2pm to 4pm, and costs $165 for both sessions. ID camp is for high school and junior college athletes. Please complete registration by 5pm the day before ID camp starts.
The ID camp will focus on players who demonstrate potential and ability to be recruited into the UTRGV men's soccer program. The camp will incorporate the structure of a daily training methodology that focuses on his four main elements of the sport: physical, technical, tactical and mental.
The Elite Skills Clinic is for boys ages 8-19 and will be held daily from 7-8:15 p.m. Elite Skills Clinic costs $160 for 4 days. Please complete your registration by 5pm on March 17th.
Elite Skills Clinics feature structured training programs that are fun and challenging in a safe environment, developed by UTRGV's coaching staff. The clinic will focus on passing, receiving, dribbling, heading, scanning, communication, balance, and coordination techniques.
The goal is to ensure that campers are challenged but experience improved skills and abilities throughout the clinic.
