HARTFORD, Conn. โ Tufts University's Tyler Sedlak scores midway through the second period and Peyton Durand makes 45 saves in the 2024 NESCAC Men's Hockey Championship semifinals Saturday inside the Keppel Community Sports Center. The Jambos defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 1-0. March 2.
Season update
- Fourth-seeded Hamilton (17-8-1) had won its last four games entering championship week. The Continentals, who received votes in this week's USCHO.com Division III Top 15 Poll, were looking to advance to the conference finals for the first time since 2017.
- No. 3 seed Tufts (14-9-3) advances to the NESCAC final and will play No. 1 seed Trinity College on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
how did it happen
- Sedlak's goal came with 7:30 left in the second period, with assists from Max Resnick and Jack Hughes. Resnick won the Jambos faceoff four seconds before the goal.
