Hart, a 2019 graduate of John Marshall University, had three major stops during the season. He spent most of his years in the G League with the Memphis Hustle. However, he did have two 10-day NBA contracts with the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as a brief stint on the U.S. Men's American Cup qualifying team.
The 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward appeared in 22 G League games with the Hustle during the season. He was second on the team in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game, shooting 50.3 percent from the floor and 40.7 percent from 3-point range. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and a team-leading 1.3 blocks per game.
During two 10-day stints in the NBA, Hart appeared in eight games with the Grizzlies. He averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Hart shot 35.3 percent from the floor and 25.0 percent from the 3-point line.
Prior to his second NBA season, Hart, who turned 24 on April 20, was one of 12 players selected by USA Basketball to play on the U.S. Men's American Cup qualifying team.
Hart played in one game for the United States, scoring 13 points in 20 minutes in a 100-79 victory over Cuba in Orlando. When he signed his second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies, he returned to Memphis because he was in Cuba for the second qualifying game.

katie hartMatthew's sister recently completed her sophomore season of women's basketball at Division I Lehigh University.
She is a 5-11 reserve guard/forward.
Hart, a 2022 graduate of John Marshall, appeared in seven games for Lehigh in the 2023-24 season. She attempted her only field goal of the season and it was a 3-point shot. She added one steal in addition to three points.
Lehigh finished with a record of 17 wins and 13 losses.

Lily MeisterA former teammate of Katie Hart at John Marshall University, she is completing her second season of women's basketball at Indiana University.
Meister, a 6-3 reserve forward, played in all 32 games for the Hoosiers in 2023-24. She averaged 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game and shot 71.4 percent from the field.
She scored a career-high 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor in a Big Ten Conference win over Northwestern.
Meister helped Indiana finish 26-6. The Hoosiers advanced to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16, but lost 79-75 to South Carolina, the event's national champion.

John Marshall baseball team pays tribute to former Rockets coach Lou Blanca The Rockets had planned a memorial for their coach earlier this season, but the game was canceled due to rain.
Blanca passed away in January 2023 at the age of 94.
The game will be played at John Adams Junior High School, and a tribute will be held at 4:45 p.m. prior to the game starting at 5 p.m. A number of former John Marshall players will be in attendance, as well as former Mayo baseball coaches. dale massey.
Branca served as John Marshall's head baseball coach for 20 years, from the spring of 1967 to 1986. During that time, he led the Rockets to three Big Nine conference championships. He previously led Faribault to a Big Nine Conference title.
Branca won over 300 games as JM's baseball coach.
