Mazuza, who made history, was cheered on by his girlfriend and sisters.
The luge event draws attention for more than just the thrill of watching Olympic athletes hurtle down an icy course at more than 130 miles per hour.
There are a lot of USA themed sports bras out there now.
On Sunday at the 2018 Winter Olympics, three American women braved the frigid temperatures in red, white and blue sports bras to win silver medals and become the first American to win a luge singles medal at the U.S. Luger. , supported Chris Mazuzer. The moment was commemorated as perhaps another Olympic first: wearing a sports bra in sub-zero temperatures.
Sports Bra's entourage included Mazuzer's girlfriend, Mara Marian, and Luger's sisters, Kate and Sarah.
“I would do the exact same thing, so I'd just hang out with like-minded people,” Mazuzer said Monday, though at this point she's wearing a traditional luge bodysuit instead of a sports bra. choose to wear it. “Yeah, they're kind of crazy. I think normal people would call me crazy.”
Mazuzer's sisters wore American-themed sports bras to support Mazuzer at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, and they joined Marian again on their way to South Korea. Marian said she asked if she could give it to her.

“Yeah! Yeah, I would do that,” she recalled with a laugh Monday of her response. “I'm sure you agree before you even realize what it actually is.”
Here's what it's like: Temperatures during Luger competitions can sometimes be in the single digits, but the weather isn't usually conducive to wearing a sports bra.
“I don't feel anything at that moment,” said Marian, 33. “You're so nervous and excited and then all of a sudden he's done and the next guy is leaving and you realize, 'Where's my coat?' β
Apparently, Mazuzers aren't the only ones who have had a positive reaction to sports bras.
“People were really excited,” Marian said. “People are tweeting and Instagramming things like, 'For America!'” They're excited. Nothing negative. they think it's funny.
“It's gotten a lot of attention, and Chris likes it. Chris likes attention and likes things to get a little wild.”
